This review is mostly for my own catharsis as I doubt it'd have any impact (and because they won't pick up the phone to here it from me directly). It's even more sad knowing that they would most likely not care to make changes even if they were confronted with these reviews. To all those at or coming to Drum, take these words to heart and adjust your plan of action regarding pet care and expectations of this clinic's capacity to care accordingly.
Been calling for almost a week, never answer the phone, and you can't not left a message for an appointment.
They never pick up the phone. NEVER And not only that my dog got side effects from their vaccines, no sorry anything just gave another steroids shot, then they charged me for that.
the actual vets are kind and knowledgeable. What really brings this place down is the reception staff and those who are there to help expedite service. There is a severe lack of drive. As you sit there for almost an hour before the ball even starts rolling, it begins to feel like they are there just there to collect a paycheck. Fortunately I never had to rely on them for an emergency, though they wouldn't help anyway. On the occasion you call and actually make it to their automated system (rather than just getting the busy signal), they just suggest calling a more capable establishment should you seek care past a shot.

I'm not usually one to complain or write negative reviews, but this establishment really disappoints me. As other reviewers cite, they almost never pick up the phone. When they do, they are often not helpful beyond answering a general question. Instead, they require that you come in to speak to someone more knowledgeable. They even require you to come in to schedule appointments. It's apparently too difficult to do so over the phone. And from the times I have managed an appointment, my experience wasn't much better. Upon signing in, you are rarely acknowledged by even the receptionist. For one of my check ups I sat there for 45 minutes before she asked me, "What are you here for?" Honestly, at that time it would have been less frustrating had she not acknowledged me at all and instead read the sign in sheet they expect you to fill out! To be fair- and why I didn't rate this place one star-
Never have had any problems with the services my dog has had here. The biggest inconvenience is you can't call to make an appointment because they never answer the phone.
