Great place to relax after a long hard day at work. Fishing stress away.
There are leeches in the pond. It is stagnant water (it doesn't refresh itself) so it is a breeding ground for bacteria. As far as kayaking and fishing, it I fun. Please do not let your kiddos swim in the pond, I've tried to call about this but they never answer the phone so I'll just leave a review instead

Great location to relax. Wish it was a dog friendly location (besides the fenced in dog park) I would have loved to bring my dogs in the water but other then that great location for a family day or BBQ. Come fish, kayak, canoe, paddle board, or swim.
Enjoy running the trails here, especially through spring and fall. The parks facilities and cabins are nice and well kept. Overall a great place to spend a little time with the family, camp, swim, or take a stroll. Cons: cabins are a bit pricey to rent and along the back side where you can camp or use the pavilion, no pets are allowed.
